How do I create an account?
Simply download VerifySMS from the App Store and sign in with your Apple ID. That's it — no extra registration forms, no email confirmation. Your account is created automatically and securely linked to your Apple ID.
Is VerifySMS free to download?
Yes, VerifySMS is completely free to download. You only pay for virtual numbers when you actually need them. There are no subscriptions, hidden fees, or recurring charges. You add credits to your wallet and use them on demand.
Using the Service
How do I get a virtual number?
Select the service you want to verify (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, etc.), choose a country for your number, then tap "Get Number". You'll receive a virtual phone number instantly. Use this number on the service's verification screen and wait for the SMS code to appear in the app.
How long is the number active?
Numbers are active for approximately 20 minutes after purchase. You'll see a real-time countdown timer in the app so you always know how much time is remaining. This is usually more than enough time to complete any verification process.
Can I receive multiple SMS on one number?
Yes. During the active period, you can receive multiple SMS messages on the same number. This is useful if a service sends more than one message or if you need to re-request a verification code.

VerifySMS supports over 500 services, including popular platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Google, TikTok, Twitter/X, Snapchat, Discord, Netflix, Amazon, and many more. The full list is available in the app — just browse or search for the service you need.
Which countries are available?
We offer virtual numbers from over 150 countries worldwide. Popular options include the United States, United Kingdom, Indonesia, India, Russia, Netherlands, Germany, France, Brazil, and many more. Country availability may vary depending on the service you select.
Payments & Pricing
How much does it cost?
Prices start from as low as $0.15 per number. The exact price varies depending on the service and country you choose. You can see the price clearly before purchasing any number — no surprises. Premium services or countries may cost slightly more.
How do I add credits?
Navigate to the Wallet tab in the app, tap "Add Credits", and choose an amount between $5 and $100. You can pay securely using Apple Pay or any credit/debit card. Credits are added to your wallet instantly after payment.
Do credits expire?
No, your credits never expire. Once you add funds to your in-app wallet, they remain available indefinitely until you use them. Take your time — there's no rush.
Can I get a refund?
If you don't receive an SMS verification code on a purchased number, you automatically get a full refund to your in-app wallet. No need to contact support — the refund happens instantly. For refunds of wallet top-ups, please reach out to support@verifysms.app.
Troubleshooting
I didn't receive my verification code
Please wait up to 2 minutes — some services take a little time to send the code. If you still haven't received it after 2 minutes, the number will be automatically cancelled and the cost will be refunded to your wallet. You can then try again with a different number.
The number was already used
This can occasionally happen with virtual numbers. If the service rejects the number because it was previously registered, simply cancel the number (free cancellation after 2 minutes) and request a different one. Each attempt will give you a new number.
I can't sign in to the app
Make sure you're using the same Apple ID that you originally signed up with. If you've recently changed your Apple ID or are using a different device, try signing in again. If the issue persists, please contact us at support@verifysms.app and we'll help you get back in.
My balance is wrong
First, try pulling down on the Wallet screen to refresh your balance. If it still looks incorrect after refreshing, please contact us at support@verifysms.app with your account details and we'll investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
Account & Privacy
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account within the app. Once confirmed, all your personal data, transaction history, and account information will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We take security very seriously. VerifySMS uses SSL certificate pinning to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks, Face ID / Touch ID protection for app access, and all data is stored on encrypted EU-based servers. Your information is never shared with third parties.
Do you store the SMS codes I receive?
No. SMS verification codes are displayed to you in real-time as they arrive and are not permanently stored on our servers. Once the number expires or is cancelled, the messages associated with it are no longer accessible. Your privacy is our priority.
